I want to welcome you to The WANDERLUST World.

The WANDERLUST World is how I describe www.YlfaGronvold.com  it’s where I share with you the Wanderlust experience.

In today’s modern technology world I believe its very important to us to be available and connected with our costumers around the world at any hour of the day.

At 24 years old I founded WANDERLUST in mid 2012 in Copenhagen where i lived for a few years, then moved back to my home country Reykjavík, Iceland where WANDERLUST is based now.

WANDERLUST is a luxury fashion brand  and is slowly building up and forming itself to it’s iconic style. It’s classic yet, romantic and feminine with well tailored silhouettes. I believe in the beauty of tailored clothing with well done craftsmanship, to be dressed in beautifully fitted clothing it evokes the feminine nature in women. Every single clothing that is made from us is made by order and care in our studio.

The Style of  WANDERLUST is very versatile, feminine and soft with a touch of rock n’ roll sass and a unique vintage feeling.

Growing up in Iceland and having lived in Copenhagen, and England, I celebrate my blessing of having the privilege to see the world and living in a beautiful country like Iceland and blend the ease of the Icelandic natural style with the sophistication and edge of the english classics as well as the scandinavian style.

Gaining experience in various fields of the industry from theatre work, television shows to well know fashion houses.

 I quickly discovered my true calling was in design after graduating as a fashion designer from Margrethe Skolen in Copenhagen and decided to pursue my dream of creating beautiful clothing, and launched my own company along with an online store.

I get asked a lot about the name WANDERLUST  and where it comes from, I believe it comes from my constant desire to explore, meet new people, travel and experience, and learn from every moment and what the world has to offer, I get very inspired by random experiences and the differences of cultures, lifestyles, and peoples knowledge that I like to combining into one.

I am very excited to be able to pursue my dream and the future of WANDERLUST and have very high goals and ambition for the company. I want to thank my Team and everyone who supports and helps make my dream and desire to create come true.
